- Autograph of Edmond GEORGEN, signed and dated 04/17/1964, addressed to Colonel Rémy. Support, his book: "Geôles Sanglantes", original edition completed to print on November 25, 1947 on the H. NEY - EICHER printing presses in ESCH - SUR - ALZETTE (GR. - D. of Luxembourg) and printed on deluxe "Metropolis" cover, the binding is by the same house. Twelve hundred copies were taken from this work, of which Eight hundred numbered from 1 to 800 constitute a non-commercial edition, reserved for members of the Association "LETZEBURGER BICHERFRENN", a non-profit association Luxembourg. This copy is number: 787.
Edmond GEORGEN (1914-2000) is a Painter and a draftsman, he was a Luxembourg Resistance fighter. On December 14, 1943 he was arrested by the SS, then sent to the HINZERT camp, then to the SACHSENHAUSEN camp, until 1944, then to the MATHAUSEN camp, until the liberation, on May 17, 1945. These drawings executed in peril of his life in the concentration camps of Mathausen and Hinzert are among the rare documentation of concentration camp life. Drawings n° II, V, VIII, XII, XXI, XXIII, XXIV were acquired by the Musée de la Guerre in Paris. These drawings will come out after the war under the title of "Geôles Sanglantes".

A l'appui, son livre : "Geôles Sanglantes", édition originale achevée d'imprimer le 25 novembre 1947 sur les imprimeries H. NEY - EICHER à ESCH - SUR - ALZETTE (GR. - D. de Luxembourg) et imprimée sur de luxe "Metropolis " couverture, la reliure est de la même maison. Douze cents exemplaires ont été tirés de cet ouvrage, dont Huit cents numérotés de 1 à 800 constituent une édition non commerciale, réservée aux membres de l'Association « LETZEBURGER BICHERFRENN », association luxembourgeoise sans but lucratif. Cet exemplaire porte le numéro : 787.
